Union apprenticeship sign-ups near Louisville

The training centre near Louisville opened applications for apprenticeships in electrical and welding trades. There are 3 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. Classes are in the evening and work is during the day. What do you wish you had known?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
