Union apprenticeship sign-ups near Kansas City - first time posting

The training centre near Kansas City opened applications for apprenticeships in electrical and welding trades. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. Classes are in the evening and work is during the day. Did anyone go through it?

The aptitude test was mostly maths and reading a diagram. Free practice tests online were enough for me.
