Union apprenticeship sign-ups near Kansas City - 7 months and counting

The training centre near Kansas City opened applications for apprenticeships in electrical and welding trades. This is my first time dealing with any of this. Classes are in the evening and work is during the day. What do you wish you had known?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
