Union apprenticeship sign-ups near Chicago - any advice?

Mei Voss · 2026-08-11T11:09:25.878Z

The training centre near Chicago opened applications for apprenticeships in electrical and welding trades. There are 5 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. Classes are in the evening and work is during the day. Did anyone go through it?

The aptitude test was mostly maths and reading a diagram. Free practice tests online were enough for me.
