Union apprenticeship sign-ups near Buffalo - first time posting

I heard of an apprenticeship with paid on-the-job training for people changing careers. It has been a long 13 weeks. Classes are in the evening and work is during the day. What do you wish you had known?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.

Visit the training centre in person if you can. Seeing the classrooms helped me decide.
