Union apprenticeship sign-ups near Buffalo - 11 weeks in

I heard of an apprenticeship with paid on-the-job training for people changing careers. There are 6 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. The application needs a diploma or equivalent, a driver's licence and a short aptitude test. How hard is the test?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 2 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
