Union apprenticeship sign-ups near Boise after 13 years as a teaching assistant

The training centre near Boise opened applications for apprenticeships in electrical and welding trades. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. Applications close in 8 weeks. Did anyone go through it?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

The aptitude test was mostly maths and reading a diagram. Free practice tests online were enough for me.
