Union apprenticeship sign-ups near Austin

The training centre near Austin opened applications for apprenticeships in electrical and welding trades. I am in Austin, in case local advice matters. Applications close in 22 weeks. What do you wish you had known?

Visit the training centre in person if you can. Seeing the classrooms helped me decide.

Bring your transcripts and any proof of work history. They asked for both in the interview.
