Trades apprenticeship applications open in Toledo - any advice?

A local apprenticeship programme is taking applicants for the next intake. There are 10 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. Classes are in the evening and work is during the day. What do you wish you had known?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 2 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
