Trades apprenticeship applications open in Salt Lake City - 13 weeks in

Avery Okafor · 2026-07-14T11:12:49.617Z

The training centre near Salt Lake City opened applications for apprenticeships in electrical and welding trades. It has been weighing on me all week. Classes are in the evening and work is during the day. Did anyone go through it?

You earn while you learn, but the first year is tight. Plan your budget carefully.

The aptitude test was mostly maths and reading a diagram. Free practice tests online were enough for me.
