Trades apprenticeship applications open in Raleigh - what worked for you?

The training centre near Raleigh opened applications for apprenticeships in electrical and welding trades. I am in Raleigh, in case local advice matters. Classes are in the evening and work is during the day. Did anyone go through it?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.

Visit the training centre in person if you can. Seeing the classrooms helped me decide.
