Trades apprenticeship applications open in Minneapolis - what worked for you?

I heard of an apprenticeship with paid on-the-job training for people changing careers. It has been a long 23 weeks. Classes are in the evening and work is during the day. How hard is the test?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 4 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
