Trades apprenticeship applications open in Milwaukee - first time posting

The training centre near Milwaukee opened applications for apprenticeships in electrical and welding trades. I am in Milwaukee, in case local advice matters. Applications close in 19 weeks. What do you wish you had known?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 6 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

The aptitude test was mostly maths and reading a diagram. Free practice tests online were enough for me.
