Trades apprenticeship applications open in Milwaukee - first time posting

The training centre near Milwaukee opened applications for apprenticeships in electrical and welding trades. I worked as an administrative assistant before this. Applications close in 22 weeks. What do you wish you had known?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 11 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
