Trades apprenticeship applications open in Fresno - any advice?

The training centre near Fresno opened applications for apprenticeships in electrical and welding trades. It has been weighing on me all week. Classes are in the evening and work is during the day. Did anyone go through it?

Visit the training centre in person if you can. Seeing the classrooms helped me decide.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
