Trades apprenticeship applications open in Dallas after 9 years as a production planner

I heard of an apprenticeship with paid on-the-job training for people changing careers. There are 9 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. Classes are in the evening and work is during the day. Did anyone go through it?
