Trades apprenticeship applications open in Chicago - any advice?

Amara Quintero · 2026-07-28T23:26:39.457Z

The training centre near Chicago opened applications for apprenticeships in electrical and welding trades. I do not usually post, so bear with me. Classes are in the evening and work is during the day. How hard is the test?

Visit the training centre in person if you can. Seeing the classrooms helped me decide.

The aptitude test was mostly maths and reading a diagram. Free practice tests online were enough for me.
