Trades apprenticeship applications open in Boston - any advice?

A local apprenticeship programme is taking applicants for the next intake. I am in Boston, in case local advice matters. Classes are in the evening and work is during the day. How hard is the test?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
