Temp-to-hire openings around Wichita - first time posting

A retailer and two warehouses near Wichita are hiring seasonal staff. I worked as an accounts payable clerk before this. I would like to avoid a gap in my résumé. Is it worth applying to several at once?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.

Keep a list of supervisors' names. A reference from one of them helped me land my next job.
