Temp-to-hire openings around Tucson - any advice?

A staffing agency says some roles convert to permanent after 17 weeks. It has been weighing on me all week. The pay is hourly with weekly deposits. Which employers treat seasonal workers well?

Keep a list of supervisors' names. A reference from one of them helped me land my next job.
