Temp-to-hire openings around Toledo - any advice?

I am looking at seasonal jobs around Toledo that might lead to something longer. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I would like to avoid a gap in my résumé.

I was converted after one season because I showed up every day and volunteered for extra shifts. Managers remember that.

Apply to several. Start dates and schedules change quickly and having options helps.
