Temp-to-hire openings around Salt Lake City - what worked for you?

A retailer and two warehouses near Salt Lake City are hiring seasonal staff. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I would like to avoid a gap in my résumé. Is it worth applying to several at once?

Apply to several. Start dates and schedules change quickly and having options helps.

Ask early about permanent openings. Some teams fill them from their seasonal list.
