Temp-to-hire openings around Portland - 16 weeks in

A staffing agency says some roles convert to permanent after 9 weeks. There are 9 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I would like to avoid a gap in my résumé. Has anyone been converted to permanent?

Apply to several. Start dates and schedules change quickly and having options helps.

I was converted after one season because I showed up every day and volunteered for extra shifts. Managers remember that.
