Temp-to-hire openings around Pittsburgh - any advice?

A retailer and two warehouses near Pittsburgh are hiring seasonal staff. I am in Pittsburgh, in case local advice matters. Hours ramp up in the coming weeks. Which employers treat seasonal workers well?

I was converted after one season because I showed up every day and volunteered for extra shifts. Managers remember that.
