Temp-to-hire openings around Pittsburgh - any advice?

A staffing agency says some roles convert to permanent after 14 weeks. Any experience at all would help. The pay is hourly with weekly deposits. Is it worth applying to several at once?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

I was converted after one season because I showed up every day and volunteered for extra shifts. Managers remember that.
