Temp-to-hire openings around Phoenix - what worked for you?

A retailer and two warehouses near Phoenix are hiring seasonal staff. This is my first time dealing with any of this. The pay is hourly with weekly deposits. Which employers treat seasonal workers well?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
