Temp-to-hire openings around Memphis - what worked for you?

I am looking at seasonal jobs around Memphis that might lead to something longer. Any experience at all would help. Hours ramp up in the coming weeks. Is it worth applying to several at once?

Ask early about permanent openings. Some teams fill them from their seasonal list.
