Temp-to-hire openings around Louisville - any advice?

A retailer and two warehouses near Louisville are hiring seasonal staff. I worked as a mechanic before this. Hours ramp up in the coming weeks. Is it worth applying to several at once?

I was converted after one season because I showed up every day and volunteered for extra shifts. Managers remember that.
