Temp-to-hire openings around Kansas City - what worked for you?

I am looking at seasonal jobs around Kansas City that might lead to something longer. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. The pay is hourly with weekly deposits.

I was converted after one season because I showed up every day and volunteered for extra shifts. Managers remember that.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
