Temp-to-hire openings around Honolulu - what worked for you?

A staffing agency says some roles convert to permanent after 4 weeks. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. The pay is hourly with weekly deposits. Which employers treat seasonal workers well?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 4 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
