Temp-to-hire openings around Honolulu - any advice?

A retailer and two warehouses near Honolulu are hiring seasonal staff. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I would like to avoid a gap in my résumé.

Keep a list of supervisors' names. A reference from one of them helped me land my next job.
