Temp-to-hire openings around Denver - what worked for you?

I am looking at seasonal jobs around Denver that might lead to something longer. Any experience at all would help. Hours ramp up in the coming weeks. Which employers treat seasonal workers well?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 4 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
