Small employers hiring around Salt Lake City (Salt Lake City)

Two small Salt Lake City employers told me they are hiring but have not posted yet. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. One is a print shop, one is an accounting firm and one is a clinic. Should I visit in person?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 8 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

A short email with two sentences about what you can do and your résumé attached worked for me. I followed up after a week.
