Small employers hiring around Salt Lake City

Two small Salt Lake City employers told me they are hiring but have not posted yet. It has been weighing on me all week. They prefer people who can start within a couple of weeks. What do you write in a cold email?

Keep a list of who you contacted and when. It makes follow-ups easy.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
