Small employers hiring around Sacramento - first time posting

Two small Sacramento employers told me they are hiring but have not posted yet. There are 3 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. They prefer people who can start within a couple of weeks.

Visiting in person worked for a trades job. For office jobs, email was better.
