Small employers hiring around Hartford - first time posting

Two small Hartford employers told me they are hiring but have not posted yet. Thank you in advance. They prefer people who can start within a couple of weeks. What do you write in a cold email?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
