Small employers hiring around Atlanta - what worked for you?

Two small Atlanta employers told me they are hiring but have not posted yet. One is a print shop, one is an accounting firm and one is a clinic. What do you write in a cold email?

Small employers often hire on recommendation. Ask neighbours, former co-workers and your library.

Keep a list of who you contacted and when. It makes follow-ups easy.
