Second-chance employers near Wichita - any advice?

I got a lead on a company that does not ask about convictions on the first application. Any experience at all would help. The HR contact was kind and direct. Did they ask about it in the interview?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
