Second-chance employers near Tucson - any advice?

A few employers in Tucson say they hire people with a record, including a manufacturer and a warehouse. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. Pay starts at an hourly rate with benefits after 3 months. Did they ask about it in the interview?
