I found a second-chance hiring list from a workforce board. There are 11 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. The HR contact was kind and direct. Any other leads?

Ask the workforce centre about bonding programmes. They sometimes help employers feel comfortable.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
