Second-chance employers near San Diego - what worked for you?

A few employers in San Diego say they hire people with a record, including a manufacturer and a warehouse. There are 17 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. Pay starts at an hourly rate with benefits after 17 months. Has anyone worked at these places?

Ask the workforce centre about bonding programmes. They sometimes help employers feel comfortable.
