Second-chance employers near San Diego - what worked for you?

A few employers in San Diego say they hire people with a record, including a manufacturer and a warehouse. I worked as a procurement assistant before this. The HR contact was kind and direct. Any other leads?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
