Second-chance employers near Memphis - any advice?

I got a lead on a company that does not ask about convictions on the first application. Any experience at all would help. Pay starts at an hourly rate with benefits after 13 months. Has anyone worked at these places?

Ask the workforce centre about bonding programmes. They sometimes help employers feel comfortable.
