Second-chance employers near Cincinnati - what worked for you?

A few employers in Cincinnati say they hire people with a record, including a manufacturer and a warehouse. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. Pay starts at an hourly rate with benefits after 17 months. Did they ask about it in the interview?
