Second-chance employers near Baltimore - what worked for you?

I found a second-chance hiring list from a workforce board. I worked as a bookkeeper before this. They still run a background check later but consider it case by case. Did they ask about it in the interview?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
