Second-chance employers near Atlanta - any advice?

A few employers in Atlanta say they hire people with a record, including a manufacturer and a warehouse. It has been a long 22 weeks. They still run a background check later but consider it case by case. Has anyone worked at these places?

Be honest, brief and forward-looking when you talk about it. They care more about what you did since.
