Seasonal jobs that might turn permanent - what worked for you?

A retailer and two warehouses near Memphis are hiring seasonal staff. I do not usually post, so bear with me. The pay is hourly with weekly deposits. Has anyone been converted to permanent?

Apply to several. Start dates and schedules change quickly and having options helps.
