Seasonal jobs that might turn permanent - what worked for you?

A staffing agency says some roles convert to permanent after 10 weeks. It has been a long 14 weeks. I would like to avoid a gap in my résumé.

I was converted after one season because I showed up every day and volunteered for extra shifts. Managers remember that.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 13 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
