Seasonal jobs that might turn permanent - what worked for you?

A staffing agency says some roles convert to permanent after 6 weeks. This is my first time dealing with any of this. The pay is hourly with weekly deposits. Which employers treat seasonal workers well?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

I was converted after one season because I showed up every day and volunteered for extra shifts. Managers remember that.
