Seasonal jobs that might turn permanent - what worked for you?

I am looking at seasonal jobs around Spokane that might lead to something longer. I worked as a procurement assistant before this. Hours ramp up in the coming weeks. Has anyone been converted to permanent?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 4 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
